VGAN is one of the companies invited to the Fauna experiment 2022, a project with focus on sustainable business development initiated by Siw and Tore Gjedebo in collaboration with Rogaland-based Innovation Dock.
BUILD FORWARD LOOKING INDUSTRIES
The Fauna experiment targets sustainable companies with growth potential, and will help in their further development. The objective is to build forward-looking industries and create jobs with a focus on reduced consumption of raw materials, minimizing waste, emissions and energy consumption.
The development of future products, services and technology is about taking joint social responsibility and at the same time gaining competitive advantage – to achieve this, the Fauna experiment offers participating companies a six-month program with mentors, experts and advisers, as well as a unique opportunity for knowledge-sharing in a network of alumni companies with unique experiences from a number of professional areas.

THE PROJECT CONTINUES THROUGH 2022, AND INTO 2023
For VGAN, this is a unique opportunity to make contacts across disciplines, and learn from the experiences of others. The program is kicked off by a “Summersprint”, where a group of masterstudents have spent the summer reviewing the participating companies’ business plans, websites and public presence, and present this to the company with findings, feedback and recommendations.
Throughout the autumn, the program continues with weekly digital gatherings where associated experts and mentors take the companies further within their business areas.
